POSITION BRAND DESCRIPTION:
As System Engineer on the Tech at Lilly MQ External Manufacturing team, you will be responsible to research, design, develop, and support tech solutions to meet the digital needs of Lilly’s External Manufacturing organization. You will use your technical expertise, analytical skills, and leadership abilities to create key components for these systems, evaluate different technologies, and work closely with other members of the Tech at Lilly and External Manufacturing Business teams to ensure that the systems are implemented correctly and effectively. You will be part of cross-functional Joint Process Teams to represent Tech at Lilly as an enabling function to meeting the team’s operational needs as well as ensure smooth support of Tech at Lilly enterprise initiatives such as Cyber-Security. Due to the rapidly increasing footprint of External Manufacturing at Lilly and the lack of current digital capabilities, you will be front and center of designing and deploying new technology solutions, in particular within the digital collaboration and advanced analytics arenas.
YOUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience leading or supporting the deployment and support of technology solutions to a business area.
