Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The role of the Systems Engineer is primarily to manage and maintain the Splunk platform as part of the team, in our cloud environment. This includes platform care & maintenance, ingestion control and optimisation, customer (new project) onboarding.
This fantastic opportunity working in the Health Platform team working on multiple modern platforms that support a broad range of stakeholder and customer groups internally. You will also have the opportunity to influence future direction within a large financial services organisation, and work on critical and complex projects during a time of exciting transformation at Suncorp.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Accountable for the delivery of specific internal customer and Suncorp objectives within the Application Health domain.
  • Apply and grow technical expertise in Splunk and related technologies,
  • perform analysis to understand stakeholder requirements and deliver commitments to agreed dates.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving the value provided by the Splunk platform at Suncorp and work within a wider team supporting monitoring, alerting and systems management
