Description:
The ideal candidate should be skilled and experienced with
- General Systems Administration of Linux based servers
- Shell Scripts and Job Scheduling
- Installation of Open Sourced Applications (including building from source instead of merely package installation)
- DevOps processes
- Computing Hardware Layer Optimization (understand and identify server bottlenecks)
- Storage Layer Optimization (know the implications of different RAID types)
A candidate with 10yr+ experience is preferred but this position is also open to more junior candidates with at least 5yrs of experience. Offered remuneration will commensurate with demonstrable ability. Candidates should be prepared for a hands-on technical assessment during the interview
