Responsibilities:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
The JP9711 project provides the Australian Defence Force (ADF) with an effective Planning, Simulation and Execution Capability that enables the exercising of essential warfighting skills by the Joint Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force).
As the System Engineer you will be responsible for performing end to end systems engineering lifecycle activities across all development activities for simulation systems and services.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary Directed Workforce, your primary focus will be developing engineering deliverables in required Data Item Descriptions (DID) and to Joint Command Training Branch (JCTB) requirements, engineering standards and practices and applicable regulatory frameworks. Coordinating systems engineering expertise across the whole engineering lifecycle to foster, implement and flow down JCTB requirements
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have:
- Significant experience in multi-discipline engineering development programs, using applicable Systems Engineering Management processes in the Information and Communications, ICT design, ICT capacity management and Simulation Test Domains.
- Experience in development of methodologies on complex systems applying documented engineering principles and processes..
- Significant experience within a Defence engineering and regulatory framework
- Extensive experience working with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders and partnering organisations to achieve common goals.
- Tertiary qualification in Systems Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognised institutio
