We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team! The successful candidate will play a crucial role in deploying Topcon Image Management and Telehealth software in our cloud environments. The Systems Engineer will play an active role solving complex technical issues and ensuring a smooth experience with our products and services. If you are passionate about technology, have excellent problem-solving skills, and enjoy helping customers, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy new server environments and maintaining existing installations.
  • Install, upgrade, load balance, and configure Topcon software in cloud environments.
  • Participate in delivery projects in a specialist role.
  • Cloud Systems monitoring and third level support.
  • Document performed installations and tasks.
  • Work closely with DevOps and Engineering team.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Proficient in Kubernetes Technology
  • Proven record of working with Linux server environments with command line tools, networking, and data security
  • Spontaneous, independent and solution oriented.
  • Responsibility for your own work and are eager to learn more.
  • Previous relevant experience and a degree in a relevant field
  • Proficient in Linux, Debian, RedHat, SSH
  • Knowledge of Bash scripting, Linux Server Administration and Storage management
  • Network, Firewalls, Data security, VPN, SSL, Monitoring tools, Web servers, Data storage.
  • Good understanding of firewall (firehol) and haproxy
  • Nginx, KeyCloak
  • Microsoft Azure Services (Virtual Machines, Network Security Groups, App Services)
  • Knowledge of SQL databases (MariaDB, MS SQL)
  • Ansible Automation, Knowledge of automation and configuration management, Docker
  • Orthanc / DICOM server

Base Pay:
Expected Base Pay Range: $100,000 to $120,000 Annualized
The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
Bonus eligible:
In addition to base pay, compensation for this position includes eligibility for a 5% annual bonus.
