Qamcom is growing and we are looking for talented Systems Engineers to join our Qamcom office in Stockholm!

Our expertise spans a wide range of areas including sensors and radars, image and signal processing, embedded HW and SW, multi-modal AI analytics, and wireless communication systems, as well as application software, edge-cloud infrastructure, and functional safety.
Our team possesses the comprehensive skills necessary to develop complete products for serial production. We can take ownership of every aspect of the development chain from the initial design to the final product.
About the role As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will join our team of experienced software and hardware engineers and algorithm specialists in our Stockholm office, playing a crucial role in ensuring that our solutions perform at the very edge of what is possible. You will be at the core of our projects, coordinating the teams’ technical solutions and working closely with all the team members.

EXTRA QUALIFICATIONS THAT WE WOULD CONSIDER HELPFUL ARE:
Experience in implementing computationally demanding software (e.g., AI algorithms or computational science),
Hands-on experience with relevant industry standards in project requirements phase and implementation (e.g. functional safety standards or Medtech standards),
Hands-on experience with cyber and/or information security, from threat and risk assessment to implementation and testing,
Working proficiency in Swedish,

Responsibilities:
Taking ownership of the system design process, encouraging the team to develop modular solutions while keeping in check the individual conditions and requirements of every project.
Being actively involved in the entire development process, including requirement definition and management, system design, development, prototyping, testing and industrialization.
Working closely with our customers and partners to identify requirements and needs, define the product’s functionality, make various implementation choices, handle life cycle considerations and so forth.

6 years of experience in Systems Engineering and/or Systems Architecture,
Requirement and change management work,
Understanding of CI/CD and of good coding practices,
Experience in Systems Engineering within Software or Embedded Software Development,
Experience in Systems Engineering within Digital Electronics,
Experience in Systems Engineering within Hardware Design,
Basic project management skills,
Fluency in English,
Swedish resident or Swedish work permit,
