WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for you as a Systems Engineering Intern to support our experienced and dedicated technical sales team in the Netherlands. Our team, consisting of experienced experts, is responsible for the successful positioning and sales of Fortinet security solutions to our customers.
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will be an important part of the daily workflow and have the opportunity to learn from our experienced colleagues.
In addition to conveying product-specific skills from Fortinet, we offer you the opportunity to acquire relevant security skills and work with leading security products. This will be done through a combination of on-the-job training and formal online training, and it is expected that you will complete industry-recognized certifications.
We place great emphasis on the development of your soft skills, including presentation and whiteboarding skills, customer engagement and more.

As part of our SE community, you can look forward to varied tasks and projects every day. Here’s a glimpse into your typical workday:

• Setting up “Proof of Concepts": You support our system engineers in setting up labs at the customer site or at the Fortinet office.
• Customer demonstrations: You are involved in customer demonstrations alongside our system engineers and show our customers the strengths of our solutions.
• Proposal responses: You work with system engineers to respond to requests such as RFIs or RFPs and best support our customers.
• Collaboration with SEs: You work hand in hand with system engineers to offer our customers a successful Fortinet experience.
• Fortinet-Tech Updates: You will participate in Fortinet-Tech updates with our partners.
• Customer-oriented Solutions: You will focus on customer-oriented solutions and work to provide our customers with the best possible experience.

• NSE Certification: You will develop a deep understanding of the Fortinet portfolio and become certified as a Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE).Research and Presentation: You will research interesting topics and present your findings to the SE community, contributing to the expansion of our knowledge.
