If you’re a Systems Integration Engineer, get in touch with me! I’m looking for both a Mid-level Systems Engineer and a Sr. Systems Engineer. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical performance and reliability of a high-profile project.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
- Hold tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering.
- Possess detailed knowledge of the Australia electricity systems or a willingness to acquire it quickly.
- Exhibit exceptional communication and report writing skills, capable of reviewing technical documents and making complex decisions.
- Provide technical leadership to teams, proficient in using simulation software, and mentoring others.
- Possess a deep understanding of power system components, design, operation, and National Electricity Rules.
- Familiarity with power system control systems, protection schemes, and renewable energy integration.
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead simulations and investigations to assess the performance of the broader network, offering advice on power quality and network issues.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders on system integration and power quality matters.
- Provide technical expertise on system integration, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Mentor and guide less experienced team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Make decisions impacting the future performance of the project in a rapidly evolving technological and regulatory landscape.
- Engage with external stakeholders to address technical and system integration challenges.
