Description:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for providing technical support coupled with excellent customer service for all MB employees. The first point of contact for all issues, requests and queries covering major technology applications such as Microsoft, business systems/applications such as our ERP, and hardware provision and support including video conferencing facilities. Working closely with third-party suppliers and actively participating in the testing and implementation of new systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The first point of contact for all System & IT related issues, requests and questions, supporting Board members as well as users at all levels of the business.
  • Reacting to tickets logged in our Support portal, to triage and progress to resolution or to assign within Systems & IT or to 3rd party partners.
  • Root cause analysis of issues to implement long-term resolution.
  • Provision of hardware for new starters, creation of accounts, processing movers and leavers.
  • Daily check of all system scheduled tasks and interfaces, and troubleshoot errors a/o rejects.
  • Retail Stores and warehouses support including POS Application and hardware.
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of all applications.
  • SME for video conferencing facilities.
  • Creator of training material and delivery of training on MB Systems to all users.
  • Initiate and progress analysis, design, test and implementation of any new business applications, initiatives, and task automation.
  • Identification, tracking and audit of company’s technical assets.
  • Champion of business security governance, ensuring access control is compliant and auditable.
  • Assist on any ad-hoc duties as required by the department.
  • Key liaison with US Systems & IT Technician.
