We advocate agile, fully cross functional teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We’ll value your proven initiative, problem solving abilities and ways in which you have shown leadership while performing your role. We are looking for someone who:

• Has 3+ years experience in a technical role.
• Has experience working with IT Hardware and Infrastructure
• Is aware of security, compliance, risk and audit
• Is comfortable with Agile ways of working
• Has documentation, and knowledge sharingskills
• Is comfortable working in a banking environment with regulatory requirements

We are looking for a mix of technical experience and soft skills to support our CMDB:

• Knowledge of API’s
• Knowledge in Coding/Scripting
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Strong Customer focus.
• Attention to detail
• Monitoring and Alerting
• Fault Management
• Change Managemen

MŌ TE TŪRANGA | ABOUT THE ROLE

Being a member of the Service Now Squad you will be involved in looking after the day-to-day operational capabilities of the ServiceNow ITOM Module incorporating the CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
As ASB push forward into a Hybrid Cloud future the CMDB becomes a critical component in the management of our large and complex environment.
Our Change, Problem, Incident and Vulnerability management are reliant on the accuracy and completeness of the CMDB data and is a key metric in measuring the success of this role.
Being part of the Engineering Practice at ASB we encourage our teams to work autonomously in an agile way while actively growing their skills and expertise to continuously improve outcomes for our customers.
You’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work that integrate on an enterprise scale, all while being part of a smaller squad that makes their own decisions about how to work through prioritisation - so your voice will be heard, and your opinions valued.
ServiceNow encompasses far more than just our CMDB so you will have opportunities to learn and contribute to a number of different areas under the guidance of our very experienced Senior Specialists.
