ABOUT THE POSITION

The procurement team, within the Supply Chain Department, is responsible for the Source-to-Contract process for goods and services needed to support the Exeger Operation AB strategic and operational goals. Procurement leads the sourcing activities with suppliers and key internal stakeholders to identify and procure the best products, services CAPEX investments etc. at the highest quality and at the lowest possible cost whenever procurement can add value.
Your responsibilities

The Tactical buyer is responsible to drive and develop the dedicated category. In this position you’re working daily with internal and external stakeholders, having regular contacts with suppliers currently supplying to Exeger. You will be commercially responsible for all interactions between Exeger and the suppliers within the category, always being aware of and respecting business ethics & code of conducts. You’re responsible of both operational procurement as well as strategically developing the way we work. This includes, but not limits to:

• Define & Implement sourcing strategy of assigned categories to optimize cost vs. value vs. risks.
• Develop in-depth market knowledge of assigned categories to identify and share expectations of price, availability, and supply base developments for spend in scope.
• Recommend negotiations scenarios and tactics.
• Execute sourcing (RFx, benchmarking, negotiation, contract)
• Manage supplier relationships to optimize supplier performance.
• Manage sourcing projects along strategic sourcing process.
• Managing the onboarding process for new suppliers.
• Secure new and existing suppliers signs the NDA and sufficiently protect the Exeger IP
• Secure the signing of Framework agreements and Exeger T&C´s with all suppliers in Scope.
• Sign off prices for supplier payment (in line with contract)
• Provide annual price forecasts for budget purposes and ensure price accuracy.
• Facilitate innovation and business solutions through supplier relationships.
• Support the Exeger Operations team to have the correct ERP master data.
• Report savings for sourcing projects.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you that want to take on more responsibility within procurement focusing both on development as well as operative sourcing. To thrive with us we believe you have an analytical mindset and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, we think you have strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings and value creation. Besides bringing the right personality we believe you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
