  • Strong recruitment and administration experience, ideally within a similar role or environment or with an understanding of key recruitment elements
  • Previous experience of working with an ATS
  • The ability to work in a busy, customer focused department, often multi-tasking and having to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication skills whether that be via the telephone or written, with the ability to engage with both candidates and colleagues
  • An effective team member with a highly supportive, collaborative approach
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, you’ll enjoy a varied work day in a fast-paced operational environment where you’ll manage multiple tasks, deadlines and targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and the ability to problem solve
  • A good level of computer literacy in MS Office packages. You’ll embrace learning new IT systems and enjoy making the most of technology in your job role
  • CIPD Qualification (Level 3 or 5) Desirable

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this exciting new role you’ll support the Talent Acquisition function with the day to day administration of the recruitment process within your defined area of responsibility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual looking to develop a career in recruitment. We’ll provide support and coaching to help you to gain experience and develop skills to build a long term career in recruitment.

Your key duties will include:

  • Ensure that your vacancies are processed in a timely manner on our ATS system. This will include writing compelling job advertisements and deciding where vacancies should be advertised, posting on job boards and using social media channels to promote opportunities to prospective candidates
  • Actively monitor and track progress on all job vacancies and highlight issues and trends, for example where job advertising is not providing a suitable pool of candidates, and follow up with hiring managers to keep the process moving at pace
  • Sifting through candidate applications, completing first stage telephone screening and booking in face to face interviews with managers.
  • Keeping the ATS System up to date including candidates regrets.
  • Take ownership of queries from candidates, ensuring that they are directed appropriately and receive a response. Responding to candidate queries via email and telephone as well as in person
  • Setting up on site assessments for candidates with hiring managers, following up with hiring managers with results of onsite assessments.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with Company process and legal obligations including eligibility to work in the UK
  • Work in close liaison with the HR Assistants and the wider HR team to ensure value is created from all HR processes (e.g. vacancy approvals, offers and on-boarding, internal talent) and that processes and hand-offs are seamless.
  • Compilation of a weekly report to ensure full visibility of all recruitment activity
  • Supporting with HR systems and any general administrative tasks
  • Any other duties related to the effective undertaking of the job role

Role requires traveling to different locations and also offers hybrid working
