About the Division
The People Strategy and Operations (VPS) Division is responsible for managing HR operations and providing strategic support for both corporate staff and accommodation services. It oversees corporate environments, sustainability initiatives, payroll, recruitment, policy development, workplace relations, and workforce management. Operating under a values-based framework, the division prioritises meeting client needs and improving policies and processes, to deliver on our corporate responsibilities.
It’s an exciting time to join the People Services branch, which manages payroll, people operations, talent acquisition and HR services with the goal of attracting and retaining top talent, whilst nurturing a culture of high performance and innovation. The branch is currently implementing a new innovative operating model to introduce more efficient work methods and enhance its service delivery to the business.
About the Role
A career developing opportunity exists for you as a Talent Acquisition Advisor within the Talent Acquisition team of People Services. In our newly designed Talent Acquisition team we provide end to end recruitment services to the internal clients, this role is instrumental in supporting hiring managers through the recruitment journey.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • A Tertiary qualification in HR or similar
  • Experience working in a dynamic, high performing Human Resources team or similar function in a large complex organisation.
  • Strong client engagement skills exhibited through effective communication and exceptional consulting abilities.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Proven ability to effectively engage and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities:

  • Have experience in end to end recruitment meeting service level agreements
  • Be able to manage stakeholder requirements and accurately acquire job briefs from hiring managers
  • Support the hiring manager in determining appropriate position description and writing effective job ads
  • Screen potential applicants for shortlisting and provide candidate summary of alignment to job requirements
  • Be an active participant in the recruitment selection process including being a panel member, reference checking and drafting the selection report
  • Manage a diverse set of client’s recruitment across multiple job families
  • Work as part of a strong team that is supportive of each other and has a proactive approach to achieving team goals
  • Identify emerging people trends to drive informed decisions for improved people outcomes.
