THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to an increase in recruitment activity over the coming months, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced internal recruiter to take on the exciting challenge of seeking out exceptional talent to join our global organisation. Working closely with hiring managers and our People advisory team, you’ll gain insight into talent needs, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and advertising campaigns that align with Gallagher values and employee brand.
The successful candidate will join our extraordinary People Ops Team - a vibrant and engaging team who work tirelessly to support our employees.
This is a fast-paced and demanding role, where you’ll be juggling competing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously – always ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. Your expertise in advertising across different countries, utilising various job boards, and coordinating interviews across multiple time zones will be highly valuable in this global role.
This 6-month fixed-term contract offers an amazing opportunity to leave your mark in a growing business with excellent career pathways.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Talent sourcing and candidate evaluation: proactively source candidates, conduct thorough evaluations, and promote diversity in hiring.
  • Employer branding and candidate experience: positively showcase the Gallagher brand, provide timely feedback, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Market research and talent Insights: stay updated on industry trends and provide talent market insights to guide hiring decisions.
  • System/technology championship and strong partnerships: champion talent technology tools and foster effective relationships with stakeholders to achieve recruitment goals.

To ensure you hit the ground running, you’ll need to have a sound background in internal recruitment, ideally gained within a large, complex organisation. You’ll be able to build stakeholder relationships with ease and you’ll be passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate experience. To succeed in this role you’ll also need:

  • Tertiary level qualification in a related field.
  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track record of successfully recruiting for a wide range of positions, including niche technical roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective candidate and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Strong understanding of relevant employment laws & regulations.
  • Innovative thinker / creative approach to talent sourcing and attraction.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Experience recruiting in global markets (highly desired).
  • Proficiently in Job Check processing and criteria (highly desired)
