EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- 7+ years in recruitment and/or HR, preferably in a matrixed and global company talent acquisition organization.
- University degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related discipline; or equivalent experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Effective leadership skills; demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management; proven ability to influence others and lead organizational change.
- Ability to implement and manage change programs.
- Ability to use and analyze data to drive improvements and define strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including storytelling ability.
- Strong results orientation.
- Project management skills.
- Experience and knowledge of ATS and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) is a strategic, creative, business savvy individual that has a proven background & interest in developing talent initiatives to drive results for the business. The TABP will be responsible for translating talent strategies into execution which will enable the UR, Employer Brand, Operations, and Deployment teams to create highly effective experiences for our customers.
- Translate hiring demand signal to impactful talent acquisition strategy for assigned business/portfolio.
- Act as a conduit across TA ensuring hiring priorities are understood, resourced & successfully carried out.
- Drive TA priorities within the business and implement through regional delivery teams ensuring OneHR partnership.
- Lead strategic hiring projects (e.g. acquisitions, emerging markets, location/function/profile strategies, etc.).
- Support talent priorities (e.g. leader standard work, quality of hire, early talent, pipeline development, colleague referrals, diversity talent attraction, etc.).
- Drive value through market intelligence, hiring analytics, and reporting; use TA expertise and labor market analytics to recommend and report on efficient sourcing and branding campaigns.
