JOB SUMMARY

This position will be directly supporting InterHealth, the TGH staffing division committed to providing patients with excellent and compassionate care. Positions range from bedside nurses, ambulatory surgical center roles to health care operations and more.
Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant is an extension of leadership responsible for developing and implementing Talent Acquisition activities and programs to meet the hospital’s needs, developing a pipeline of talent for anticipated needs, mentoring recruiters on the team they lead and optimizing performance to align with Service Level Agreement standards. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant collaborates with hiring leaders to support all full-cycle recruitment needs including strategies to identify top talent through cost effective measures. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant will provide input into staffing strategies, recruitment, and retention programs and more, based on identified trends. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant will act as a brand ambassador within the community through collaboration with local universities, technical schools, and other partners, ensuring strong community relationships are always maintained; this may include presentations to inspire future nursing students. This also includes regular attendance at local and regional employment events. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant will review direct applicants as well as source candidates through various government and social media platforms. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant will leverage available technology solutions to ensure efficiencies in all processes within the applicant tracking system, and other platforms. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant will generate e-blasts and mailers when appropriate, and actively participate in the interviewing of applicants to provide input and recommendations to the hiring managers.
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant will be well versed in the organization’s total compensation package, with the ability to clearly communicate to all candidates. Serves as the subject matter expert on the team they lead and functions as the first escalation within Recruitment. Partners with the Talent Acquisition Manager on issues that require further escalation. Conducts 1:1s on a weekly basis with members of their respective team. Runs weekly huddles with team and reports updates to the Talent Acquisition Manager. Manages data & metrics for the team they lead. Provide input to Talent Acquisition Manager to support the performance evaluation process for respective team members. Will also create and conduct training for other HR teammates to ensure competence in all areas. This position will also be responsible for proposing new and innovative ideas to enhance processes, systems, and new hire experiences. This position will monitor industry specific trends and work with applicable parties on proposed changes as needed to adapt. Will lead projects as assigned within the Talent Acquisition team. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant will be well versed in Joint Commission and AHCA regulatory requirements related to employment and lead any process improvement and audit measures necessary. All assigned tasks will be in accordance with local, federal, and state employment laws, including but not limited to, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, the Civil Rights act of 1964, Workers Compensation and Unemployment. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Business, Communication, or relevant field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Professional HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, and CHCR) preferred.
  • Progressive recruitment experienced required.
  • Experience and formal training in Human Resources practices including recruitment, compensation, benefits administration, HRIS and/or employee relations required.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking and HRIS systems with the ability to pull and analyze reports.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft office products.
  • Proficient use of spreadsheets and research methods.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate assigned project goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrates a high level of oral and written communication skills.
