Description:

For more than 126 years, Epworth Children’s Home has grown and adapted to the individual needs of children and families by providing a safe and nurturing environment, evidence-based practices, and programs across the continuum of care and across the state of South Carolina.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for all areas of talent acquisition to include full cycle recruitment of candidates and onboarding of new hires to the organization.

  • Develops and maintains a recruitment and selection strategy that attracts qualified candidates to Epworth Children’s Home.
  • Completes all pre-employment and onboarding activities such as preparing and posting jobs, coordinating interviews with department heads, conducting reference verifications, performing background checks, and completing new hire packets and checklists.
  • Maintains ATS to ensure real-time statuses are available on candidates in the pipeline and current job openings are advertised.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in talent acquisition. Extensive work experience in talent acquisition may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft office products.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general governmental regulations.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
Must be able to pass standard background checks, including: drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry
