QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to commute to our North York office for onboarding, and other Team coordinated events.
  • Must be available to work full time from Monday May 6 – Friday August 23, 2024.
  • Sound analytical skills, detail oriented, able to work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively while using strong judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong technical abilities with tools such as social media, basic IT trouble shooting, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working towards a diploma, certificate, or degree in related field such as Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Previous Talent Acquisition Experience is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in various projects which could include, applicant tracking system enhancements, KPI and metric reporting, recruitment marketing, and research related to current state talent acquisition practices.
  • Coordinates, registers, and attends various hiring events or job fairs.
  • Assists with posting jobs in the applicant tracking system as well as on external job boards.
  • Provide support with screening resumes, conduct phone screens, assist with administration of Candidate Assessments, Pre-Employment Screening, Relocation Intakes, etc.
  • Prepares and compiles interview guides, presentations, and reports.
  • Establishes and maintains organized and confidential electronic and paper-based filing systems to ensure information of all kinds is current and readily accessible.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
