Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator with HearCanada, you will report into the Talent Acquisition Manager and will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment for various roles within our clinic/retail operations across Canada. This is a permanent full-time position and will work as part of our collaborative and forward-thinking Human Resources team. This is a hybrid position based in Burlington, ON.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers
- Review and post vacancies within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and external job boards
- Participate in early-talent/campus recruiting strategy development and execution
- Source and prospect candidates using tools and techniques such as LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, job fairs, community-based agencies, etc.
- Conduct initial screening interviews and schedule formal interviews with hiring managers
- Participate in formal interviews and act as a subject matter expert to guide hiring managers through providing a positive interview experience
- Act as a key point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process to deliver an exceptional candidate experience
- Prepare and conduct offers of employment including pre-employment checks and credential verifications
- Be an ambassador of our brand to improve our employer brand strategy around hiring and retention
- Collaborate with the Human Resources and Training and Development teams to support pre-onboarding documentation for new employees
- Participate in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources projects
