Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Director of Recruitment is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract both experienced professionals and students to the organization. This role involves leading a team of recruitment specialists, collaborating with various departments, and overseeing the entire recruitment process to ensure the organization attracts top talent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement specific and effective strategies to attract both experienced professionals and students in alignment with EY’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage the recruitment organisation consisting of experienced hiring specialists, student hiring specialists and employer branding specialists, providing guidance, direction and support to ensure the teams achieve the respective goals.
  • Work with recruitment managers to design and execute sourcing plans to attract top talent, utilizing various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and direct sourcing. And for students an effective campus and branding campaign.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and professional development.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with educational institutions, external providers and suppliers to ensure excellence in candidate sourcing, application and onboarding experiences.
  • Work with the recruitment team to continually review and streamline the recruitment process for both experienced candidates and students.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stake holders that includes regular communication and gathering of feedback to set and understand expectations and address any concerns.
  • Work with relevant suppliers and internal teams to develop and implement technology solutions and best practices to enhance efficiency in recruitment processes and maximise positive candidate experience.
  • Ensure all our strategies for experienced and student hiring are appropriate to attract a diverse pool of candidates, including underrepresented groups and minorities.
  • Ensure recruitment practices are inclusive and comply with diversity and inclusion policies and regulations.
  • Develop and manage the recruitment budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize the impact of recruitment activities.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Manage and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure recruitment and recruiter effectiveness, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, and candidate satisfaction. Use and refine existing tools to create regular reports and analytics to track progress and inform decision-making.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Experience in a similar position
  • You have led a team and are comfortable with high volume and a fast pace in an environment of ambiguity
  • Demonstrable experience in recruitment operations and operations improvement
  • Demonstrable experience in managing recruitment metrics across a busy team
  • Proven experience in building strong relationships with business stakeholders
  • Project management experience is desirable
