REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND YRS EXP
Bachelors plus 3-5 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong background in talent acquisition and employee onboarding, preferably within the higher education industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data, identify patterns, develop solutions and work independently.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with PeopleSoft or similar employee recruitment and position management systems.
CAMPUS PARTNERSHIPS
- Consults and partners with hiring managers across the division to develop strong working relationships to understand specific departmental recruiting needs, develop recruiting strategies, and provide counsel, education and support throughout the hiring process.
- Recommends, creates, and implements advertising/marketing strategies using a variety of sourcing and advertising techniques.
- Maintains awareness of current division openings and proactively reaches out to managers offering assistance in creating hiring pools for newly opened positions.
- Engages with candidates to guide them through the hiring process.
Coordinates recruitment process including sourcing, conducting phone interviews, providing candidate summaries and maintaining documentation of candidate pools.
- Networks with and supports candidates seeking employment at Dartmouth College. Creates a database of candidates for future employment opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Collaborating closely with the Director of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition & HR Services Associate plays a pivotal role in crafting an exceptional talent acquisition and management journey within the Arts & Sciences division. This multifaceted position entails spearheading the recruitment, selection, and orientation processes for a diverse range of roles, spanning from non-exempt to exempt and temporary positions.
Operating as a liaison between faculty, department administrators, and hiring managers campus-wide, the Talent Acquisition & HR Services Associate offers comprehensive HR support tailored to meet the unique needs of each stakeholder. This encompasses guiding stakeholders through the entirety of the hiring lifecycle, leveraging Dartmouth’s People Admin platform (DORR) to facilitate seamless processes, from position creation to the successful onboarding of selected candidates.
