As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
The Talent Acquisition Lead will be fully accountable for recruitment delivery and the impact on client satisfaction across Hatch’s Australia Asia region. They will act as the first point of client escalation and will seek to resolve ongoing issues before they are escalated. Reporting to the Global Director, Talent Acquisition, the successful incumbent will also be responsible for implementing global initiatives and strategies across their region.
As the successful candidate, you will:

Team

  • Coach and mentor the team to ensure they are well equipped to deliver on client expectations
  • Organize weekly 1-on-1 meetings with each recruiter to discuss business updates; identify hard to fill roles; aging requisitions and ongoing recruitment challenges
  • Manage requisition volumes of each recruiter and redistribute workload if necessary
  • Provide support to team, answer questions and train new hires on Hatch recruitment processes

Client and HR

  • Demonstrate strong consulting ability by offering solutions to ongoing recruitment matters to the client and HR
  • Schedule updates with the HR groups supporting the businesses to discuss recruitment challenges and issues
  • Ensure ongoing communication of recruitment activities to the managers / HR for their business groups i.e. industry events; association partnerships, social media campaigns, etc.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting to clients and HR as requested

Partnering with Global Director, Talent Acquisition

  • Provide Global Director, Talent Acquisition with weekly progress updates on all open positions, and work on any ad-hoc report requests made
  • Maintain 1:1 meetings with the Global Director, Talent Acquisition to discuss client updates; ongoing challenges and the team performance

Talent Acquisition

  • Provide full cycle talent attraction and acquisition support to assigned client group(s)
  • Source top talent regionally and implement key talent attraction strategies, in partnership with the regional talent acquisition team
  • Manage large, complex recruitment projects, pipeline critical resources and source

You bring to the role:

  • A University Degree in Human Resources or a related Social Sciences field
  • 10+ years full-cycle recruiting experience; of which 2+ years is leading small to mid-sized teams; preferably in the project engineering or consulting industry
  • Experience with full recruiting lifecycle inclusive of delivering talent pipelines
  • Proven sourcing experience, excellent candidate searching and networking skills
  • Ability to motivate others – demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach with a high level of passion and initiative
  • Client driven focus with enthusiasm to provide high quality customer service
  • Proven influencing skills
  • Reliability and accountability
  • Adaptability and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Business acumen and understanding of key business drivers.
