ABOUT THE ROLE
The position is responsible for developing a compelling employment brand, overseeing the hiring process and fostering positive relationships with candidates and employees across the business nationwide. You will lead our efforts in talent acquisition, working closely with hiring managers and HR professionals (HR Business Partners and Officers) to ensure a seamless recruitment process by improving the recruitment policy and procedures and managing the recruitment team. This role suits a candidate who feels confident in leading recruitment initiatives with short turnaround times.
The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative and encouraging HR team in QLD State Office in Brisbane, who together with this role bring their agile time management skills to achieve desired recruitment outcomes. This role will contribute to the talent strategy, ensuring Sonic HealthPlus is seen as a leader in its field.
DUTIES
As the Talent Acquisition Lead your responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Lead a team of recruiters, providing guidance, mentorship, and support, and foster a collaborative and service-oriented team culture focused on continues learning and professional development
- Partner with hiring managers and HR professionals to provide end-to-end recruitment services nationwide and offering best practice processes.
- Support recruitment strategies and implement changes aligned with the broader business goals to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates across various channels.
- Uplift hiring manager capability to ensure best practice including to collaborate with the Training Team to develop and deliver hiring manager training programs and resources.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for senior-level positions, including department heads, practice managers and second-in-command (2IC) roles.
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness by utilising data-driven insights
- Manage outsourced recruitment service providers (contractors and agencies) to ensure a high quality, value for money service
- Contributing to SHP on-boarding experience and Employee Value Proposition.
