Job Summary
In this new player/coach position, you will be energized by the opportunity to build a best-in-class scalable talent engine for our EMEA region. You will thrive on utilizing your global talent recruitment experience and delivering on an exceptional talent experience for our candidates and leaders. You will lead a small team TA Partners while also carrying a small number of requisitions, working as a player/coach. You will have the opportunity to work directly with leadership across the business to find and fill positions that will have a positive impact on our business. You will be part of a wider Talent and People team where collaboration is valued, sharing of knowledge, and continuous improvement for the good of the whole team are the ways we work best. You will be a role model for your team and hiring managers for what a best-in-class recruitment experience should be.
Reporting to the VP, Global TA, you will be a hands-on leader of a high-performing Talent team. This is a hybrid role in Cape Town office.
What you will do
Serve as a trusted advisor to the VP, Global TA on talent attraction and engagement for the EMEA market
Cultivate strong relationships across the business with leaders to ensure our hiring targets are achieved and aligned with business needs
Work as a Player/Coach – Responsible for carrying several requisitions at a time while also leading a small team of talent professionals to deliver a best-in-class talent service for the business, from setting OKRs, managing with a high-performance mindset, and providing strong leadership and coaching to your team for their success
Work with People Leadership to design a talent organization that aligns with regional needs while balancing global effectiveness and efficiencies
Drive a talent process in EMEA that aligns with our vision, culture, and employee value proposition
Work in a cross-functional collaborative way to ensure effectiveness across the business
Utilize a customer-first mindset, embed global/regional processes, and standards for delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring experience including service metrics
Ensure all leaders in your regions are equipped to provide a high-quality experience for candidates through to onboarding
Participation in other duties/responsibilities as may be assigned.
What you will have
Proven experience in owning talent delivery across EMEA
10+ years with significant hands-on experience in being a regional recruiter
3+ years leading an EMEA team to deliver on regional talent needs
Demonstrated experience at leading high-performing teams including mentorship/coaching and performance management
Proven track record of delivering to hiring targets in high-growth environments- preferably in technology companies
Experienced at delivering on diverse and inclusive hiring and creating strong talent pipelines
Ability to partner and collaborate with leaders across the business
Track record of establishing customer-first recruitment processes
Third-level qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively and support your team with prioritizing
Ability to work comfortably with different HR software products
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a global and collaborative team environment on-site and remotely
