As the first Talent Acquisition Manager, you will operate within a small People & Culture team as the standalone expert. This position will see you establish best practice process and work in sophisticating the recruitment journey for both internal stakeholders and external candidates. Operationally, you will sit on a rec load which will encompass a variety of blue and white collar positions. By establishing a TA presence for this organisation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping this organisation’s culture, attracting top talent, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all TA processes. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the ongoing development and execution of the talent acquisition strategy, identifying key metrics for objectives and partnering with managers on workforce planning exercises to understand current and future resourcing needs;
  • Completing end to end recruitment of all roles including advertising, screening, interviewing, pre employment assessments and offer negotiation;
  • Leveraging partnerships and opportunities in market to support a robust pipeline of talent, working on a continued evolution of the organisation’s EVP;
  • Managing agency relationships, supplier agreements, LinkedIn and SEEK;
  • Delivering on projects connected with talent acquisition; and
  • Conducting ongoing assessments and reviews to ensure compliance, process improvement and high deliverables across key fill metrics
