SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Extensive background from the Talent Acquisition (In-House & Search) space ideally from a large multinational, matrix structure organization.
- Recent significant proven experience in a Talent Acquisition managerial role preferably in a multinational organization, with case studies around developing high performing teams and delivering business value.
- Able to demonstrate positive stakeholder engagement and influence at all levels of an organization up to VP & C level, and to develop valued relationships with Senior Executives, Managers and Candidates alike
- Strong business acumen and commercial mindset with excellent analytic skills, fluent in the development and use of metrics.
- Strong Cultural awareness and ability to adapt approach across countries
- Demonstrated Talent Acquisition subject matter and thought leadership expertise.
Responsibilities:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition leader to run our Netherlands talent acquisition team. You will be reporting to the VP Talent Acquisition Europe + MEA and HRVP Netherlands and the key focus initially will be to deliver the Netherlands strategic business recruitment plan and implementing the new Thales Global TA model.
You will be accountable for delivering impactful Talent Acquisition activities and initiatives that will require strategic thinking, decision-making, and offering market intelligence and insight.
As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure optimum delivery to support business growth objectives, and the achievement of key group functional Talent Acquisition metrics around Quality, Speed and Cost. You will be responsible for driving a “Direct Sourcing” approach within the team by optimising the tools available such as Phenom, Workday and LinkedIn.
As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will play an influential role with key stakeholders and will act as a key business interface, analysing and presenting headcount and recruitment trends and insights. You will have a clear view of resource needs at all times (critical programs and regular hiring activities), and be able to support annual long and medium term strategic business planning processes with solid data. Your remit will also include Early Careers programmes and driving continuous improvement across all Talent Acquisition stakeholders of processes, tools and behaviours through coaching and training.
As part of the Global Talent Acquisition operating model, you will also be a member of the Europe + MEA Talent Acquisition leadership team, working internationally and collaboratively on strategic talent acquisition projects and common vision and ways or working.
