QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Min of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition/recruitment, preferably in
  • Functional computer skills with MS Office, Google Suite, computer literacy.
  • Prior experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, SuccessFactors, AI Recruiting and Boolean Job Searches.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing full-cycle recruitment processes for a variety of positions.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, techniques, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Passion for talent acquisition and a commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will play a pivotal role in attracting and acquiring top talent to support our organization’s growth and objectives. Reporting into the HR Team, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop strategic recruitment plans. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to comprehend staffing requirements and devise tailored recruitment strategies within for Labs – Environmental and Food: lab technicians, lab analysts, business development, and quality control.
  • Managing the entire recruitment process, from job postings and candidate sourcing to screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Utilizing a variety of recruitment channels, including job boards, social media platforms, networking events, college/university events, and employee referrals, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Conducting comprehensive candidate assessments to ensure alignment with position requirements and organizational culture.
  • Cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with candidates, delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for Bureau Veritas, promoting our employer brand and values to potential candidates.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to refine recruitment processes and boost overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Providing regular updates and reports on recruitment activities, metrics, and outcomes.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for candidates, engaging with them throughout the recruitment process.
  • Facilitating and overseeing the interview process, including negotiating salary offers.
  • Ensuring timely updates to the applicant tracking system to maintain accurate records.
  • Guaranteeing compliance with established procedures, labor agreements, and relevant Canadian employment law.
  • Generating hiring activity reports as needed.
  • Generating a substantial volume of high-quality candidate pipelines within tight timelines.
  • Rapidly acquiring knowledge of HR policies and procedures, operations, compensation, benefits, training and development, and collective bargaining agreements.
