Reports to: Manager, Talent Acquisition
Location: Etobicoke, ON (Hybrid 1 day/week in office)

Job Summary
Brink’s Canada is looking a Talent Acquisition Specialist reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and working closely with the regional HR Business Partner. This role is responsible for managing the recruitment and on-boarding processes and procedures for one major region (Central, Eastern or Western Canada). To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term strategies and foster trusting relationships with potential hires and hiring managers.
Responsibilities
Coordinates with Manager, Talent Acquisition and Regional HR Business Partner to determine best recruiting process for position(s).
Source high volumes of potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms, job boards and professional networks)
Screens and interviews applicants
Coordinates all new employee Use of Force and Basic Blue training between candidate and Regional Trainers
Extends verbal and written contingent job offers
Tracks status of candidates in Workday and schedules all aspects of the on-boarding process (e.g. background checks, employment verifications, references)
Update monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics
Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates
Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
Prepares new-employee files
Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years talent acquisition/recruiting experience with high volumes of recruitment (i.e. 25 hires/month)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Workday
Knowledge of logistical operations, products, services, policies, and procedures, in addition to a familiarity with the customers and the industries serviced
Bilingualism (French and English) both written and verbally required
