Description:
Convergint is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our amazing culture in Calgary. In this role, you will provide project support for a variety of Talent Acquisition programs and processes with a direct focus on sourcing candidates. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows. This role is on-site at the Calgary Convergint office.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma and/or certificate in related discipline is required, or related experience.
- At least 3 years of previous experience as a dedicated recruiter is required.
- Certifications: Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) certification is considered an asset
Responsibilities:
- Proactively source applicants (active and passive) to fill open requisitions using a variety of tools and processes.
- Responsible for collaborating with business leaders to ensure efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies are developed based on the needs of the business.
- Assists in the job posting and advertisement process.
- Screening applicants and shortlisting qualified candidates.
- Scheduling of interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Report the progress on job vacancies on a regular basis, communicate with management team and provide regular feedback about the performance of the recruitment process.
- Build strong relationships with the Human Resources Business Partners and hiring managers to ensure process and procedures are being followed.
- Assists in interview process, attending and conducting interviews with business leaders and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with hiring managers during the offer letter process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other details.
- Communicate with, and train managers on talent acquisition best practices, interview guides and legislative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with provincial and federal laws and regulations relating to employment standards, human rights, privacy legislation and employment equity.
- Work independently on special Talent Acquisition projects as assigned by TA Manager and/or business leaders.
