If this is you, you will dive right in to provide much needed support to our Tāmaki Makaurau Hiring Managers over an already busy period, assisting with day-to-day recruitment needs whilst always looking for ways to try something new!
In this every day busy role, as a Talent Acquisition Specialist within the People Experience (PX) Services team, you will have an amazing opportunity to learn new markets and further develop your recruitment skills whilst supporting a diverse range of services. You will get an opportunity to talk system improvements and contribute to policy updates.

Responsibilities:

You’ll provide end to end recruitment including creating offer letters and onboarding new employees, providing accurate advice, guidance, and training to managers regarding recruitment practice, law, processes, applicant tracking system and policies, designing and developing advertising for the hiring managers which will include job briefs. You will be comfortable undertaking phone screening and if required being part of the interview process, along with reference checking, vetting, visa support, job evaluation committee work and of course linking in with Payroll and managing the onboarding via our own HRIS system (IntelliHR).
You will assist with managing a portfolio of services from Health & Disability to Housing and Cultural/Inclusion & Partnership teams and more, allowing you to build strong relationships with your Hiring Managers. Some national travel may be required from time to time.
It is expected you will provide accurate and timely advice, guidance, and training to managers on sourcing strategies, market conditions, and best practice guidelines. You’ll work within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Seek to create talent pools and pipeline jobs, and future proof your recruitment needs.
