We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for developing talent pipelines for ISC and its subsidiaries by leading the full cycle recruitment process. Reporting to Human Resources Manager, other highlights include:

  • Support the creation of sourcing strategies and execute on the plan.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to develop and collaboratively execute on strategic recruitment plans. Manage the activities related to recruitment, including preparation of job postings, coordinate interview schedules, create interview guides, interview candidates, monitor background checks and assist with the onboarding of new employees.
  • Identity and implement improvements to the recruitment process based on best practice.
  • Develop and manage relationships with post-secondary institutions and other community partners to establish ISC as an employer of choice and promote ISC in the community.
  • Manage career fair and trade show participation, including sourcing and acquiring supporting marketing materials.
  • Create and maintain regular reporting on the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manage annual recruitment processes, such as the Summer Student program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

  • University degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven track record in recruiting across Canada. Experience with international recruitment would be considered an asset.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) and / or HRIS system (Workday).
  • Understanding of all aspects of an HR environment.
  • Experience with recruitment in a unionized environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidential information.
