As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and handle full-cycle recruitment. You will support hiring managers and candidates throughout the process and act as a trusted advisor to your stakeholders. You will create a smooth experience for both managers and candidates. We are looking for an experienced candidate (5+ years) who has excellent communication and organizational skills and can prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferably within the Investment Management, Investment Banking, Finance, or Accounting industries.
  • Previous experience within Real Estate and experience in both US and Canadian markets would be beneficial.
  • HR Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related field an asset
  • Proven experience in developing excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Significant experience with multiple sourcing channels resulting in diverse and relevant candidate pools
  • Strategic and proactive mindset developing suggestions for talent acquisition process improvement
  • Experience in creating and presenting talent acquisition metrics to hiring managers or other stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Workday systems experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire talent acquisition process for a complex portfolio of Corporate (Accounting, Finance, IT HR, etc), Investment Management and Development positions. When required, assist with operations recruitment. This will involve building trust with hiring managers and candidates, interviews, assessments, offer management and background check processes.
  • Use a variety of talent sourcing channels such as direct LinkedIn sourcing, social media recruitment, database mining, referrals and proactive networking to find top talent
  • Handle candidate touchpoints during the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience and adhering to requisition governance.
  • Work with hiring managers at the beginning of the hiring process to understand the role, team and ideal candidate. Continue this advisory support through each step of the selection process; including providing talent market intel
  • Provide suggestions for operational improvement across the Talent Acquisition function using data, insights and research
  • Maintain candidate pipeline via Applicant Tracking System making sure data is accurate and current.
  • Handle the offer process with attention to detail, collaborating closely with HR and Total Rewards to ensure offers are attractive and market-relevant.
  • Build and maintain talent pools for critical roles, providing proactive solutions to hiring managers and in collaboration with the recruitment team
  • Develop and manage relationships with external staffing agencies
