Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Human Recourses Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will take the lead regarding the blue-collar recruitment component for the business, with a focus to enhance the talent function engagement across operations. Involvement in aligning current and future workforce planning requirements will also be part of your role, ensuring operational needs are being met.
This permanent full-time position is based in Mascot NSW, and provide the opportunity to work directly with hiring managers across our Australian operations, focusing on sourcing the right talent to support for blue-collar vacancies.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide daily operational support and exemplary customer service to facilitate the recruitment of blue-collar vacancies.
- Coach and advise leaders and the workforce on effective recruitment and acquisition practices.
- Lead the recruitment process for blue-collar vacancies, from candidate sourcing to selection, ensuring timely and efficient management and candidate care. This includes tracking and following-up on open vacancies to fill vacancies with relevant and quality talent in timely manner
- Develop and maintain talent pools for blue-collar positions, ensuring a database of potential candidates for each site.
- Collaborate with HR Manager to develop talent acquisition plans aimed at attracting quality candidates.
- Explore strategies to broaden sourcing avenues and attract candidates for blue-collar vacancies.
- Continuously improve the selection process and utilize competency frameworks.
- Where required, assist in developing interview guides based on identified key competencies and skills.
