Voyago is currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the St. Catherine’s or Welland Ontario region

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE:

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in the recruitment and selection of employees and compliance with the Company’s policies and current legislation across all divisions. You would work collaboratively with the business to define recruitment needs and job requirements; manage the job posting process then proactively source, assess and identify qualified candidates through the Applicant Tracking System.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter, hiring manager or go-getter who is building their career in Talent Acquisition.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interview candidates, maintain candidate databases and follow-up in a timely manner
  • Monitor and apply recruitment best practices while providing analytical, well documented reports for use by all teams.
  • Contribute to the new hire experience by staying connected to them throughout their onboarding experience and beyond
  • Gather and audit all required documentation during the hiring and onboarding process
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Team, Training department and other team members during the recruitment & onboarding process
  • Explore different approaches for advertising job opportunities, then develop and oversee an innovative marketing strategy to implement them for your assigned divisions
  • Build community connections and partnerships
  • Be proactive to identify occasions when additional administrative tasks are required to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
