What “WEHR” Looking For:
A passion for recruiting with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience to work as part of the HR Team. In this role, you will oversee the recruiting and onboarding process for the organization as well as support our business units with their recruiting efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Continuous evaluation of WEHR’s sourcing plans, strategy and analysis, metric development/reporting, and day-to-day recruiting and onboarding management.
- Works with Hiring Managers/Directors to develop staffing plans based on business needs.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for candidates through the full recruiting cycle.
- Responsible for recruiting, onboarding and offboarding for all hires, including new employee check-ins at 30, 60 and 90 days.
- Analyzes talent acquisition processes and data to determine resources needed to recruit a more diverse candidate pool and workforce
- Plans and manages community outreach to build our pipelines of talent, including building relationships with key community leaders.
- Oversees job descriptions and posting content to ensure a consistent message is marketed to potential candidates.
- Advises and support on recruiting structure, hiring, and onboarding.
- Manages internet recruiting sites and recruiting systems including ATS.
- Keeps current on recruiting resources in order to recommend other options for obtaining qualified candidates. Identifying out-of-the box ways to attract and recruit hard to fill talent.
- Provides ongoing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics to Management to include openings, time to fill, etc.
- Organizes and attends on-site recruiting events at local high schools, trade schools and colleges as needed.
- Works with vendors such as LinkedIn and Indeed on their integration into our recruiting process.
- Responsible for working with hiring managers, scheduling interviews, sending offers
- Prepares and posts internal/external positions in the Applicant Tracking System, other job boards and coordinating with WEHR’s social media expert on postings.
- Facilitates the hiring process to ensure positive candidate experience. Including but not limited to: resume reviews, phone interviews, background checks, onboarding activities and new hire orientation. Maintains and updates onboarding processes as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Human Resources, Business or related fields preferred, or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience recruiting and sourcing for all levels within an organization.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
- SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential, or willingness to obtain credential is a plus.
- Experience recruiting in the Construction Industry is a plus but not required
SKILLS
- Planning and organizational skills to include data analysis and metrics reporting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
- Highly responsive to both candidates and hiring managers.
- Computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with recruiting technology a plus.
- The ability to independently manage multiple competing demands.
- A high sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced ever-changing environment.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment a plus
