Description:
Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for overseeing the recruiting and vetting process for internal and external candidates. In this role, you will be in charge of contacting candidates who apply from various sources and assess their level of compliance with the profiles of vacant posts, according to the requirements of management positions, while promoting the benefits of working for TELUS International. The role also involves, among other tasks, assessing the applicants and conducting interviews in order to present right profiles for each requisition.
REQUIREMENTS
- Min. 2 years of experience in recruitment, candidate management, interviews
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, linguistics or similar fields.
- Excellent English and German language skills (min. C1), other languages are a huge plus
- Minimum one year experience working as a recruiter in a global environment
- Good knowledge of German recruitment market
- Knowledge of recruitment software and database systems
- Ability to conduct interviews over the phone and via live chat
- Positive and professional attitude, advanced interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment with can-do attitude
- Ability to multitask, plan and prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills
- Experience in the AI industry and linguist background are a strong advantage

Responsibilities:
- Do candidate pre-screening and short-listing
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with candidates
- Track and manage candidate progress
- Conduct interviews with candidates (phone or face-to-face) and assess their competencies, qualifications, skills and previous employment
- Build effective working relationships with local Hiring Managers
- Utilize and maintain recruitment technology system, trackers and candidates’ pipeline
- Participate in sourcing activities and resourceful to network with universities and associations
- Participate in job fairs/events and college/universities recruiting initiatives
- Ensure the recruitment information is properly maintained for reporting purposes
- Promote the mission, vision and culture of TELUS International
