Your Opportunity
This role works in partnership with the Serco Middle East HRLT and business leaders to identify, define and drive requirements which support strategic priorities relating to Talent Management, Leadership Development, Colleague Engagement and Experience, Nationalisation, Diversity and Inclusion and Colleague Wellbeing.
You will be accountable for developing talent solutions by building capability, promoting internal career development, managing and continuously improving our approach to talent reviews, succession plans, improving EVP and colleague experience and embedding core people processes and systems in support of achievement of our longer-term strategic plans and business goals .
Suitable candidates will exhibit exceptional communication skills; including email communication, report writing, and preparing Executive Level presentations. You will have strong interpersonal awareness and ability to connect, build relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels, as well as having good judgement and decision-making skills.
Resilience in dealing with change, ambiguity and challenges will also be required in order to be successful in this role.
Key Accountabilities Management of the end-to-end implementation of Group projects and policies in the region including clear plans, timeline, stakeholder management, communications plan and project resources. Partner with the global management teams to rollout critical talent management initiatives and process. Be the regional lead for Serco global initiatives Development, implementation, review and management of SME specific talent programmes and initiatives Design, implement and manage best in class and evidenced based Nationalisation programmes and initiatives across the Division to ensure national talent is identified, developed and retained. Define and implement strategies to drive SME’s Diversity and Inclusion and Employee Experience agendas, and ensure the strategic intent is realised whilst ensuring linkage between Diversity and Inclusion agenda and Talent and Development concepts where required Design and implement a Colleague Wellbeing framework and proactive approach to colleague wellbeing ensuring we maintain a high level of standard in offerings to employees and the business Prepare and present the SME Talent Review to the EMT and Senior Leadership
Specific Requirements Demonstrable experience in designing and managing internationally recognised talent management frameworks and people solutions . Extensive experience working with Executive Levels in a Global organisation to deliver talent initiatives which support regional strategic priorities Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary best practices relating to talent management, leadership development nationalisation, training, and learning and development Strong Commercial acumen and ability to implement talent initiatives which have clear connection to business strategy Middle East experience preferred with a focus on KSA and the UAE Structured and planned approach to all aspects of work to meeting regional and global deadlines for projects Six Sigma certification is a preference (yellow belt/green belt/black belt)
