Purpose
As Talent & Culture Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our most valuable assets - our people. Based on the Gold Coast, your guidance will be invaluable in supporting our leaders across a diverse portfolio of properties, with a dedicated emphasis on nurturing, growing and retaining our exceptional talent.
This role is supported by a centralised support services team, a powerhouse that encompasses administrative support, payroll, talent acquisition, and WHS experts. This means you get to spend your workday focussing on the most exciting and strategic priorities to support your leaders within the Hotels.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to employee relations and performance management, providing guidance and advisory support to management at property
  • Plan, execute and facilitate training initiatives, supporting our leaders to foster high-performing talent within the portfolio
  • Offer strategic support to our injury management team regarding Workers Compensation claims (without direct claim management involvement)
  • Support our Department Heads and General Managers with recruitment and selection (this role is not directly involved in this process) and drive proactive recruitment and retention strategies;
  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders to engage in reward and recognition events and activities

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a Human Resources advisory or business partner role, or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to foster relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • An inclination toward collaborative problem solving to achieve desired outcomes
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruitment, workplace relations, occupational health and safety, and legislative compliance
  • Self-reliant, demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, meticulousness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Exceptional organisational skills and an unwavering focus on detail
