JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Acoustics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in acoustics or automotive audio system design.
- Proficient in audio design tools and software.
- Basic knowledge of loudspeaker design
- Familiarity with some of the following areas: acoustical engineering, transducer engineering, digital signal processing, amplifier engineering, physical/psycho-acoustics, or recording arts.
- Understanding of product development and sound tuning principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Basic technical and construction skills
- Effective communication and project management capabilities.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- A proactive approach and readiness to take on new challenges.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent hearing capability
- Open to travel to Harman sites within Europe
- Driver’s License

- Design and tune automotive audio systems.
- Develop and document technical requirements.
- Provide technical support and engage in troubleshooting.
- Manage customer projects and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Handle logistics and maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
- Participate in occasional travel to customer sites and other Harman locations in Europe.
