About the role:
Our Talent & Development Partner has an enviable remit, with a key focus on building and uplifting capability across the WA region. If you have a passion for coaching and developing others, creating a winning and engaging culture, then this just may be the perfect role for you. You will partner strategically with the Regional General Manager (RGM) and Area Managers (AMs) to bring to life ANZ’s people plan, having the ability to shape and input to key regional initiatives and activities.

This role is highly influential within the regional leadership team and works collaboratively with other People and Culture partners to drive people initiatives and key people lifecycle events. Responsibilities shall include:

  • Identify, engage and develop talent through our pipeline from Nandoca (team member) through to Area Manager, ensuring proactive and consistent workforce and bench planning.
  • Work alongside the RGM and AMs to identify future leaders/high potentials and support the building of appropriate development plans.
  • Show curiosity by delving in to metrics such as turnover, retention, compliance and partner with the Operations team to build appropriate action plans to create stability in region.
  • Drive participation of the yearly and quarterly engagement surveys, analyse results and ensure relevant action plans are completed.
  • Focus on Safety, Health & Well-Being, Changing Lives, and strategic project work to continue to improve and evolve the People & Culture function.
  • Support recruitment priorities and strategy and actively drive recruitment activities for the region including group recruitment and supporting with Restaurant management recruitment.
  • Positively contribute to the development of an engaged and aligned Nando’s culture.
  • Partner with RGM & AM’s to support with the delivery of culture and engagement events.

What you will bring:

  • Tertiary degree level qualification in Human Resources or related discipline is desirable
  • Experience in developing talent and coaching others, ideally in a multi-site business
  • Ability to work in a true partnership model, demonstrated through support, guidance and collaboration
  • Ability to lead and land projects
  • Previous experience in Employee Relations activity will be strongly regarded, although not necessary
  • Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport at all levels within the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a strong ability to influence outcomes
  • Comfort in supporting regional activity by being present in restaurant and open to regional travel

This is a full-time permanent role, based in WA. Working visibly in restaurants alongside the field team around three days a week and working from home the remainder of the time. A car allowance is included in the package to support the onsite requirements, there will also be a travel component a few times a year.
