REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 3+ years in Talent Management, Consulting, Organization Development, HR Business Partner and/or Talent Acquisition
  • General understanding of the talent “life cycle” and intersections between Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organization Development, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Great teammate and collaborator both within Learning & Talent Solutions team, across Corporate HR and across the enterprise; ability to create effective partnerships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record to initiate, design, and implement projects, engage partners and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Proven verbal, written, presentation and storytelling skills; must be capable of communicating information to diverse audiences.
  • Highly professional demeanor and respectful skills.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, consulting and problem-solving skills and ability to tailor creative and innovative solutions to meet the needs of diverse businesses and learners.
  • The position will support businesses located around the world and minimal travel may be required to advise, facilitate, or implement core strategies and client work.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or combination equivalent work experience
    The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $112,100 -150,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered

The Learning & Talent Solutions team supporting Corporate and Direct-to-Consumer functions works diligently to reimagine ways to make Disney an outstanding place to work. We lead the strategy, design, execution and evaluation of talent management programs and processes to provide career-enhancing opportunities that enable our people to develop and thrive in their roles. We are seeking a multifaceted and experienced Talent Management Manager to join our team!

WHAT WORK YOU’LL DO:

  • Act as an integral partner on the design, implementation and continuous improvement of talent management practices including but not limited to performance management and evaluation, priority/goal setting, talent and succession planning, talent calibration, career development, etc.
  • Support program design, development and execution of internal mobility and career related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners, such as Learning & Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, Organization Development to create integrated and impactful solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and business leaders to design and implement customized talent solutions. Be knowledgeable about talent and learning products, services, and initiatives, and serve as a trusted advisor for HR Business Partners, leaders and employees in specific businesses or geographies.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Talent Representative to find opportunities to cross-promote offerings in various communication campaigns (e.g., Newsletters, job boards, etc.).
  • Partner with Learning & Development Manager to design, develop, and deliver function-specific top talent mentoring initiatives as well as career development solutions (e.g., rotational programs, etc.)
  • Leverage talent data and insights to build strategic plans, inform reasons for change and actions, and deploy change and communications approaches that articulate the value of our talent solutions.
  • Manage HR systems (Workday) to support talent and development activities, and maintain records associated with various groups of key talent.
  • Design new and QA existing content and communications to provide edits, feedback, and recommendations.
  • Facilitate workshops and offerings as needed both virtually and in-person.
  • Stay up to date on current trends in the market, groundbreaking talent approaches, and continuously scour the external and internal cross-segment landscape for innovative approaches that support integrated business and talent strategies.
