THE OPPORTUNITY
We are delighted to present a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented Talent Migration Officer to join our team. Our Migration team plays a vital role in ensuring that we have the best healthcare professionals from around the world to care for our communities. They provide invaluable support to these professionals and our sites, navigating the complexities of immigration and relocation, so they can focus on what they do best – providing exceptional care to our patients.
This role can be based anywhere in Australia and offers a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee the talent mobility process from initial assessment, visa process and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and address potential compliance risks to ensure corporate visa compliance.
- Draft and review mobility-related contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with our immigration partner for expert advice.
- Partner with internal teams to streamline onboarding for international hires and provide comprehensive support on visa and relocation matters.
- Maintain accurate records for candidate management and visa compliance.
- Actively contribute to improving our talent migration program.
Key skills and experience you bring to the role include:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing employee mobility, including visa processes.
- Sound understanding of employer sponsorship obligations and corporate visa compliance.
- Proven capability to support key stakeholders effectively.
- Proficient in accurate data entry and experience with HR systems (experience with PageUp, Workday and/or Chris21 advantageous).
- High level communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
