Description:

Family Office Tax Accountant
We are seeking a dedicated, thorough, and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our clients Family Office. The chosen candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional tax and accounting services.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
CPA qualification is highly desirable.
2-5 years of experience in accounting and tax return preparation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Quickbooks, PowerPoint, Caseware, and ProSystem Fx.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and demonstrate adaptability and dependability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensuring tax compliance for various entities, including individuals, partnerships, and private foundations. This will involve preparing tax returns, reviewing estimated tax payments, and performing year-end planning.
Providing comprehensive financial tracking and accounting services, using software such as QuickBooks.
Overseeing payment coordination for family and fiduciary invoices and ensuring their accurate and timely settlement.
Verifying the accuracy of weekly 401k and matching contributions, assisting in annual complex non-discrimination testing, and calculating year-end employer contributions.
