Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Review operations and procedures to ensure compliance with local statutes and regulations.
  • Support senior management in tax-related matters, including transfer pricing documentation and tax declarations.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax and accounting laws, providing detailed analysis and business reviews.
  • Prepare monthly tax provisions, calculate deferred taxes, and assist with transfer pricing adjustments.
  • Manage asset accounting and inter-company reconciliation.
  • Process invoices and bank statements, utilizing SAP where applicable.
  • Prepare financial statements, provisions, statistics, and VAT returns in accordance with IFRS and HGB.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement enhancements.
  • Communicate effectively with departments, customers, and suppliers.
  • Support internal and external audits, including tax audits.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as needed.
