Our Client, a Boutique Tax Law Firm is hiring a Tax Lawyer for their growing Corporate Consulting division. This position will be reporting directly to the Partners of the firm and will be involved in complex tax and corporate work.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Juris Doctor
  • CPA a plus
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
    Compensation: Commensurate with candidate experience plus excellent fringe benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Navigate the complex tax codes at federal, state, and local levels
  • Advocate on behalf the company with tax agencies
  • Handle disputes related to tax obligations
  • Handle tax consulting in commercial and corporate transactions
  • Advise on the financial or tax implications of business mergers, sales, and acquisitions
  • Provide guidance on commercial real estate purchases and/ or other asset financial restructuring to maximize tax efficiencies.
