Raisin is looking for a highly motivated Tax Manager to join our global Accounting and Finance team at Raisin GmbH. The position reports to the Finance Director and will involve frequent interaction and coordination with colleagues from other teams and external stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

  • In coordination with our Team Lead Accounting ensuring timely preparation and filing of country specific VAT returns and compliance with VAT regulations while closely collaborating with our third party tax consultancy.
  • Providing responses to all general tax questions that arise in the day-to-day operational business.
  • Calculation of VAT reconciliations and income tax accrual calculations as part of our month-end, quarterly and annual closing procedures in close coordination with our Team Lead Accounting.
  • Ensuring tax compliance of finance documents (e. g. outgoing invoices) and systems (tax setup of our ERP system)
  • Review of tax related contract terms in close coordination with our legal team.
  • Tax planning calculation for Raisin GmbH and its international subsidiaries in close coordination with our Controlling and FP&A teams.
  • Calculation of deferred taxes (German Commercial Code and IAS 12).
  • Managing and continuously improving our tax compliance management system (Tax CMS).
  • Supporting during tax audits.
  • Liaising with external business partners - Tax Consultants, Auditors, fiscal and other authorities.

Your Profile

  • German Certified Tax Consultant (“Steuerberater/in”) or Tax Expert (“Steuerfachwirt/in”) preferable with experience in international taxation and transfer pricing.
  • At least 4-7 years of work experience in a tax consultancy.
  • Robust knowledge and experience in all tax matters regarding taxation of companies in Germany.
  • Experience in the area of transfer pricing.
  • Ability to write robust tax assessments (memos).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Ability to drive projects to completion successfully self independently.
  • Excellent service and hands-on mentality.
