Tax Technology and Transformation – TTT- offers services to companies in response to the impact of existing and emerging technology, including the growing data burden that many businesses face, and the need to understand how to make data an asset. TTT is composed of the following services: Digital tax transformation, Tax applications-as-a-service, Tax data and improvement, Tax analytics and reporting enhancement, Emerging tax technology, including robotic process automation – RPA -, Machine Learning - ML –, artificial intelligence – AI -, data lake development and business intelligence innovation, Tax technology program mobilization, Custom tax technology application development and deployment, Direct and indirect tax systems implementation and configuration, Tax operating model transformation, including process improvement, risk and controls, and Tax function assessments. The underlying objective of the combined offerings is to enable businesses to navigate the digital age of tax transparency alongside new trends in tax compliance and tax audit methods.

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on your unique skills and ambitions, you may support an array of client projects such as assisting in the production of SQL, SharePoint and MS Power Platform solutions or implementing third-party tax applications or supporting and automating internal and external operations of multinational tax departments. Whatever your engagements, you’ll be handling activities with a focus on quality and commercial value while helping to build a highly trained team.

CORE ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE INCLUDE

  • Identifying and assessing opportunities to improve and optimize tax functions from people, process, data and technology perspectives
  • Leveraging your innovative mindset to develop practical solutions to solve next generation tax department issues
  • Managing multiple concurrent responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while balancing the sense of urgency with a high attention to detail
  • Supporting project team members to help ensure timely completion of deliverables

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE

  • A degree in
  • Accounting, with numerous electives or a minor in Computer Science or Information Systems, or
  • Computer Science or Information Systems with numerous electives or a minor in accounting or business
  • Equivalent work experience will also be considered
  • One of
  • Traditional corporate income tax compliance and reporting experience coupled with a strong interest in technology and its use in business and tax processes
  • Corporate accounting and reporting or financial planning and analysis experience with a strong interest in technology and business processes
  • A natural flair for problem solving, an entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated ability to capture and synthesize information
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including VBA, Excel Power Query and Power Pivot, SharePoint and SQL Server
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities along with a client centric approach
