Teacher - Accessories Design Shoes & Bags (Temporary) / Firenze

In coordination with the Program Leader of the area Fashion Design, the teacher ensures the preparation, delivery of lessons and all teaching activities relating to the course of Accessories Design, guaranteeing the quality standards expected by Istituto Marangoni.
He / She Supports students in achieving their educational objectives, reporting any critical issues in the students’ learning or educational path to the area Program Leader.
He / She is responsible for the development of the teaching material relating to the course of Accessories Design requested by Program Leader and Istituto Marangoni.

PROFESSIONAL AND EDUCATION BACKGROUND

• Accessories designer with background in bags and/or shoes for the luxury market. Creative, inspiring and forward-thinking. Able to understand the latest trends and innovations with accessories, guiding students in their personal collection and industry-related projects. Focus on: bag and shoe design, research methodology techniques, trend forecasting, material and fabric manipulation, bag and shoe construction, portfolio and presentation skills;
• Experience in the world of luxury accessories of at least 5 years;
• Experience as a teacher in other contexts is a plus;
• Fluency in English;
• Degree in fashion / luxury industry is a plus.
