Description:
Quality of mind, passion for teaching, and commitment to the education of middle grades children are essential. - Bachelors Degree plus 3 years of lead teaching experience; M.A., M.Ed., or M.A.T. preferred
- Orientation to progressive philosophy and teaching methods
- Experience in curriculum development
- Experience in differentiating curriculu
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the core content area of English/Language Arts within an integrated middle grades curriculum, as well as serving as an academic advisor
- Collaboration with other grade level content area and studio teachers
- Communication and collaboration with parents
- Routine duties, meetings and engaging in professional learning on a regular basis
