Sydney Girls High is a large inner city secondary school with an enrolment of 937 students, catering to the educational needs of gifted girls and young women from all parts of Sydney. The school is composed of families from many different cultural, faith, language and socio-economic backgrounds and has a long and proud history of inclusivity. Partnerships with parents and caring connections between staff and families are highly valued. The daily operations of the school extend across educational delivery and a wide ranging co-curricular program creating a dynamic and very active school environment. The place of the school in the history of NSW over 138 years is a legacy that underpins the culture of the school and the success of students.
